Advantages and disadvantages of the life imprisonment

I think, the justice in Spain is very bad because one terrorist can put a bomb in a car, but when the terrorist is in the trial and the judge convicted him to 145 years in the jail, the terrorist know he will be free in 2o years.
Because this, I think the life imprisonment is a good system for the jails in every world, but the disadvantage of this law, is that one man, can change their behavior, but he die in the jail for the years. I think we change the law, and the convicted can made little de imprisonment with a good attitude.
